The Shadow Kingdom

Kull of Atlantis took the throne of Valusia with his sword, and now an old enemy is warning him that the kingdom is being stolen from within.

Ka-nu, the cunning ambassador of the Picts, invites the barbarian king to a secret meeting and sends his fiercest warrior, Brule the Spear-slayer, to watch over him. Something ancient walks the palace halls at night, and the oldest kingdom in the world may not be as human as it looks. Kull has to decide whether to trust a man his people have hated for generations, while any familiar face at court, from the guards at his door to his chief councilor, may be a mask.
