The Status Civilization

Will Barrent wakes up on a prison ship with no memory, no past and one fact to go on: he has been convicted of murder.

His new home is Omega, the planet where Earth dumps its criminals. In the city of Tetrahyde, status is everything and the quickest way up is to kill. Murder is licensed, the Church worships Evil, and any citizen can be drawn for the Hunt or the Games. Barrent learns fast. Soon he has a shop, a gun, a woman named Moera and plenty of enemies. But he is sure he never killed anyone, and the more he digs into the crime that sent him here, the less sense it makes. To learn who framed him, he may have to do what nobody has ever done: leave Omega and go back to Earth.
